The Best of Everything is what we wish for you.
May you find happiness and joy
your whole life through.
May good health and friendship true
always follow you.
The Best of Everything is what we want to say.
The Best of Everything; from today!

This is your very special day.
Your very special day in the year.
That's why we just want to say;
We wish you health, good luck and wealth,
And everything you wish yourself,
Find happiness with friends who care,
And love and laughter everywhere.

The Best of Everything is what we wish for you.
May you find happiness and joy
your whole life through.
May good health and friendship true
always follow you.
The Best of Everything is what we want to say.
The Best of Everything; from today!

The Wonders of the World

Copyright 2011 Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

I’ve always wanted to travel. See all the wonders to see
Go to those far distant places. Learn more and more about me.  In my life I’ve played my part.
Time now to make a new start

The wonders of the world are there for all to see.
The colours of a rainbow, the mystery of a tree.
I’d like to see it all!   I want to be a part.
I want to feel the magic of the world here deep inside my heart.

The mighty throbbing of the oceans; the gentle cooing of a dove.   The rushing torrents of a river;  the gentle rainfall from above.
I want to see it all, and start my life anew.
I’ve seen a million people; but really know so few.
The peoples of this world are all a part of me. I want to live!   I want to be!  I want to see – The wonders of the world.   The wonders of the world.

The wonders of the world; I want to see all that I can.
The sunrise in Hawaii; Mount Fuji in Japan.
I want to swim with sharks; I want to learn to fly.
I want to feel the rushing of the wind as birds go flying by.    The mighty Californian redwoods.  Nimble fingers making lace.  The Grand Canyon in snowstorm;
With snowflakes falling on my face.

I want the world to know; that I’m alive; and here!
Face the challenges of Nature; and conquer my own fear.  The world is such a great and wonderful place.
I want to know!  I want to grow; and see the show that’s
the wonders of the world.  The wonders of the world.

That Certain Man

     Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk © 2011

All that I want; all I’m longing to see -
Is someone to love; and be special to  me.
That certain man; who will make me his own,
And will give me the - love I’ve craved
And can have all the – love I’ve saved
For that certain man.

Some day I’ll find him; maybe now is the time;
And I will remind him, that he is just mine.
And then I will give him all the loving I can,
And together we’ll - be as one.
Just as if our lives had - just begun,
With my certain man.

How strange, but oh so true,
One look can start a life anew.

We‘d look through the years, as the time passes on.
And remember the time, when our hopes seemed all gone.
We’ll look back and see; how our lives had a plan.
And I’ll never forget the time;
And the thrill when his eyes met mine
Just, that certain man.

It Happened in a Moment

Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

It just happened in a moment
Like lightening striking from above
It happened quickly as a heartbeat
And I knew that it must be love.

It just happened in a moment
I’d never felt that way before
I just knew that with one look in her eyes,
I’d realised that I’d found the love that I’d been looking for.

Sunshine, music and flowers.
Magic in the air.
Long days of laughter, love and fun
Never again now; she went away
She left and took away the sun.

(Instrumental)

Sunshine, music and flowers.
Magic in the air.
Long days of laughter, love and fun
Never again now; she went away
She left and took away the sun.

The Early Years

Copyright 1970/2011

Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

Those were the Early Years,
The years we will always remember
Now June is December.
Look back and remember.

Those were the years when love was new.
And we had a million things we must do.
But all to soon time passes by;
Children grow up; old friendships die.
Let’s fill our time now with laughter not tears.
So soon passed the early, the Early Years

Those were the Early Years,
The years we will always remember;
Now June is December.
Look back and remember.

But this is out time now,
This is our day!
Life is for living,
In every way.
Have no regrets,
Have no more tears,
For these are our Golden –
Our Golden Years!

The One I Loved

Copyright 2011

Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

The one I loved - He was everything to me; and how I – I miss him more every day.
He was my friend,
My lover and the one who made my day,
In every way.   I miss him so - although –

The one I loved - well he wasn’t very handsome – no; he – he wasn’t clever or brave.
But it was he who gave me all the love he had to give - so we could live -
In every way - each day -

Sometimes I’m sitting in my chair.
I think I see him over there; he smiles at me –
Yes, he smiles at me -

The one I loved - I miss the funny things he’d say and - and all the things – we would do.  We two were one.   And now that he is gone I can’t recall.
Above it all -
Did I say?     I loved him so.
Did he know?   - I think he’d know.

I Wish I had Met You (a Long Time Ago)

© 1971/2011 Music by Tony Crimlisk

Lyric © by Dave Dunn

Someone else met you before you met me.
Life can be cruel; but it had to be.
I couldn’t steal you, whatever you say,
So many people would suffer that way.

You lived your life; I lived a lie,
Burning with love that I had to deny.
But as I leave you I want you to know;
I wish I had met you a long time ago.

You say you’d leave him and not really care,
How much temptation can one person bear?
Though I adore you, you know I must go;
Saying goodbye whilst I’m wanting you so.

We’ll never meet, after to night.
Try to forget me and do what is right.
Now as I leave you, I want you to know.
I wish I had met you a long time ago.
So wish I had met you ….
A long time ago.

I’m Coming Home

   Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk © 2011

I’ve spent a lifetime working, and I’ve had my fill.
Sometimes I feel that some parts of my life have stood still.
Whatever happened to romance?
Whatever happened to fun?
I’ve made some money I know - but
In some ways life’s not yet begun – so

I’m coming home; been travelling long enough.
Where I’ve been the way was rough.
It’s getting so hard to be alone.
I’m coming home.
I’m coming home.

I’m coming home; familiar scenes are near.
The way is now strong and clear,
And I’ve lost the urge I had to roam.
I’m coming home.
I’m coming home

So now I’ll find somewhere.
A place that I can share.
And find contentment there at last.

Yes, I’m coming home.
Where I can find peace of mind.
So I’m not the travelling kind,
And living’s a thing you can’t postpone.
I’m coming home.
I’m coming home.

I Have Everything I Want

© 2011 Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

I have everything I want right here.
I have everything I need.
I’ve the sun, the moon and stars above;
What is more I am with the ones I love.

I can hear the birds; I can smell the rain.
I can feel a warm embrace.
I can watch the children grow and thrive;
Best of all; I’m alive! I’m alive!

I’ve a life full of music and laughter
I’ve got friends to help on the way
So the troubles that always surrounds us
Seem to fade away.

I have everything I need right here
Open up your eyes and see
There’s no better world to live in
Just so long as you don’t give in
And the best part is you’re livin’
Meet the luckiest guy in the world - that’s me!

Making Waves (Chorus)

© 2012 Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

We’re making waves; moving on.
We’re travelling onwards to the evening sun.
A new life just begun.
We’re making waves and moving on.

There are so many sights to see.
(Sights to see)
The world is full and we are free.
(Yes, we’re free)
You never know what’s around the bend -
But we will make it in the end.

We’ll travel light; we’ll travel on,
Until our fears and doubts are gone - and
We’ll find the best that life can bring.
And learn to laugh and love and sing.

We’re making waves; moving on.
We’re travelling onwards to the evening sun.
A new life just begun.
We’re making waves and moving on.

Something Wonderful

    © 1993/2011 Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

What is there to say about the way you make me feel?
It’s something wonderful!
What is there to do when I’m with you and we’re alone
It’s something wonderful!

Something wonderful has happened to me,
And if something wonderful has happened to you
I’d like to stay with you for ever and we’d never ever end
This something wonderful that’s in my heart -
For I’ve know from the start that
Something wonderful is you.

Somehow I just knew that me and you
Could be the start of something wonderful!
Suddenly you bring me thoughts of spring
And everything that makes life wonderful!

Like the scent of flowers after the rain
Or the warmth of children
As you soothe away their pain, again,

I must repeat that when we meet and touch like this
To me it’s something wonderful
And that’s no lie.
I only live to try
For something wonderful with you.

Starlight

Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk © 2011

Starlight shining in the summer skies,
Pinpoints in a velvet sea.
Floating deep in space
Deep in space.

All the stars seem mine tonight
All the world feels new.
Everything is shining bright
Everything is true.

And the world passes by,
But the stars keep in their place.
Dazzling mysteries in a summer sky.
Brightening up the depths of space.

Starlight shining in the summer skies.
Worlds that vanished long ago.
Still their starlight shines
Still it shines.

Though the ones we loved have gone
Memories still remain.
Like the starlight; still they shine
Loving us again.

And the world passes by.
And the time it seems to fly.
Constant as my secret thoughts and dreams;
Stars still shine up in the sky.

Starlight shining in the summer skies.
Memories of a distant time
When the world was new
But we too still can shine
Still can shine.
Still can shine.

First Love

© 2011 Music and lyric by Tony Crimlisk

You were my first love; my very first love;
You made me happy; you made me sad.
The crazy feeling; here deep inside me
It made me tingle; it made me mad!

First love’s the best love; a bitter-sweet affair.
You wake up in the morning, and you’re walking on air.
First love is the best love; so painful at the start.
So much emotion, stabbing through your heart.

You were my first love; my very first love;
You made me happy; you made me sad.
And how I missed you, after I’d kissed you.
And I remembered, the love we’d had.

It just happened in a moment.
How it happened I don’t know.
I didn’t even think you’d seen me,
And I worried that my blushes would show1
Oh yes, I was young and I was foolish.
Didn’t know how love could be.
It could happen in a moment;
And it happened to me.

You were my first love; my very first love;
You made me happy; you made me sad.
And how I missed you, after I’d kissed you.
And I remembered, the love we’d had

Turn Back the Pages of Time

© 1971/ 2012 Music by Tony Crimlisk,
Lyric by Ida Clarke & Tony Crimlisk

I (we) can remember the chances I’ve (we’ve) had;
Some of the good and some of them bad.
Love and devotion but maybe a tear, so
Turn the page slowly, my dear.

Turn back the pages of time: one by one.
(Turn them one by one)
Turn back the pages of time,
Bring back the sun I (we) used to know,
Long, long ago.

I’ve (Some have) missed (on) weddings and honeymoons too,
Children and families; I’ve (some) missed that too.
Sometimes I’m (we’re) happy and sometimes I’m (we’re) sad
To think of the good times I’ve (we’ve) had.

Turn back the pages of time: one by one.
Turn back the pages of time
Bring back the sun I (we) used to know,
Long, long ago.
